We’ve never reserved before but just saw someone say parking at Terminal A has to be reserved. Please say no lol

Now if they’d drop the drink package to about $68 I might bite. Lol We have our 5 drinks a day but there are so many cool craft cocktails on this ship, the package would be nice. So far it hasn’t gone below $72. Hoping the 10 drink card makes an appearance

 Next question: what is the premium price onboard? Trying to decide if it’s cheaper to upgrade beforehand in the planner or buy at that discount onboard.

I just cancelled mine the other day and bought the beach club (down to $125). Refunded for Hideaway 

Just saw this on the news. Holy Cow how tragic. That cargo ship was really moving too. A friend of mine is a harbor pilot here in Jacksonville and actually was onboard (before his licensure, he was still apprenticing) when a navy ship hit one of our bridges. Luckily minor damage to bridge but it was a massive investigation. 
 

Those poor souls that perished and are still missing.

Better reschedule that! After 2025 it’ll be harder to cruise the fjords. I have us booked on celebrity out of Southampton in June 2025. Better itinerary than Indy.

(1) There was someone in the terminal, right as you go up the escalators, that was making reservations for all of our specialty dining (not sure about hibachi because we didn't book it). It was so easy and quick to do and it was very nice to not have to worry about that right as we boarded the ship when we really just wanted to explore. Even stopping there before boarding, we were still probably in the first 200-300 people on the ship.

(2) You do not need to cancel and re-book Empire Supper Club. I thought that's what you needed to do as well. But, on the morning of our reservation our account showed a refund for ESC. At the end of our meal at ESC they charged us the discounted rate. It was kind of confusing and we had to go to Guest Services to make sure they didn't cancel our reservation, but it all worked out and was pretty smooth.

This is great to know regarding the supper club. We sail next month and booked it at full price for Day 5. I was going to try and cancel once onboard and re-book under UDP. I was gun shy after my experience with Chefs Table on Wonder where they wouldn’t refund me the difference between full price and UDP. I’ll still inquire once onboard to be sure. 
 

So did they credit you back on your account the $140 difference? 

Mid to late October for me, a Floridian, gives that moment of as I ease my way in. But then again, I pretty much prefer bath water temps.  If your from up north, you’ll think it’s

Good question! We went ahead and booked at full price for Day 5 so I’m hoping to cancel once onboard and book with UDP. Not sure if I should try that at Empire or use crown concierge 

A week or so before your cruise the menus should be loaded in the app for your cruise. You should know before you even board. 
 

you can also go into the app and find a sailing on your ship that  has your same itinerary. Look at those menus. 

It still amazes me how so many parents let their kids wander all over the ship unsupervised. When we cruised with our young girls, they never left our sight. Sexual assault on cruise ships (by crew or passengers) does happen. 
 

Now we have to worry about the cabin itself. 

We were cancelled at Labadee back in September of 1991 on Song of America when the military overthrew the government 

That was a good read. I saved the article to share when I come across posts about how poorly crew is paid.  
 

He made a months salary in 2 days.

In your cruise planner on the website, go into to the cruise, click on your initials in upper right corner and from the drop down menu choose order history. Soda package should show up there

You actually go up a flight of stairs, go around near the helipad, then go back down on the other side. So you get steps and flights in one session

Definitely St Augustine. It’s such a fun city with excellent restaurants. Not sure if it’ll be available but we’ve stayed here and walked to downtown. We live about 30 minutes from st Aug and go play there often. It won’t let me post the link but here’s the place
