O5 should be new enough. Could do her inaugural season there given that Harmony will likely end up in Europe for 2021.

Here is my suggestion for where they should go:
    Oasis - Bayonne/Miami
    Allure - Southampton/Fort Lauderdale
    Harmony - Asia/Australia
    Symphony - Barcelona/Galveston
    O5 - Port Canaveral
    O6 - Miami

Oasis class make money.  Central Park continues to be the most popular feature of any ship, consistently getting favorable reviews year after year.
Don't assume OA5 or OA6 will be clones of her sisters.  Quantum Ultra for example, is an evolution of Quantum.  Oasis Ultra may be in the works and innovate.  By maintaining the basic bones of the ship they save hundreds of millions by avoiding the cost a new ship design from scratch.
Icon hasn't launched and is unproven both in terms of power plant and acceptance by consumers.  While both Carnival and Royal have massive investments in LNG it remains to be seen how that is going to work out in the long run.  Symphony is a huge success, record bookings for her inaugural year.   Gamble on investing into Icon 3 versus going with a proven design?
What if Central Park was covered so that it could function better in cooler climates year round?  Turn Central Park into a family friendly indoor space with all sorts of new activities.  Place them into regions that have never seen an Oasis class before.  So many possibilities.
Vision class wasn't even a class in it's day.  Three pairs of sister ships that got lumped together into a class after the fact.   Vague copies of each other for the same reason - economies of re-using a proven design.  Smart decisions in the ship building business.
Quantum will soon be up to five ships.  Who knows, maybe QU6 is lingering just off the radar screen tying for greatest number of ships in a single class.
Carnival does the same thing.  Horizon and Vista are built on the Dream class hull design, just reimagined use of the space.  Dream Ultra.
Voyager class was a huge success and they innovated by stretching it into Freedom class,  basically Voyager Ultra.  Maybe the rumors of a stretched OA class will come to fruition.

    He's very high energy.
As for Michele, I think this is when he was scheduled to go on vacation in the first place. He probably has to take some time off before joining a ship in Europe this summer (likely Oasis).
Given the number of changes, I guess we'll only know who is the CD when you are onboard. It's ironic that I already know the CD for July (finally getting to sail with Marc ) but March still looks uncertain.

    Jewel:
Best - Beautiful ship and crew were amazing.
Worst - It was a decade ago and my first cruise so can't really remember anything bad.
    Independence:
Best - Great size of ship, plenty to offer. The one that got me into cruising.
Worst - The only ship I've got seasick on.
    Enchantment:
Best - Only ship to be lengthened with the cool bridges? I'm not really sure of what positives to pick out for EN to be honest.
Worst - Too small, felt like an outsider being Scottish on a ship full of Americans (don't take that offensively) and didn't get a warm vibe from crew.
    Explorer:
Best - A ship with a casual, laid back vibe and had a good time. Nothing stands out too much 7 years on but it had a good atmosphere.
Worst - Can't think of anything negative to be honest.
    Serenade:
Best - Very pretty ship, and I like the vibe on Radiance Class.
Worst - Pool deck was awful and the ship was too boring.
    Oasis:
Best - The overall WOW Factor on her. First time seeing all of the proper innovations, was blown away.
Worst - Nothing bad that I can remember, except for debarkation as 1 week was not enough for OA.
    Allure:
Best - Captain Johnny and best Windjammer food.
Worst - Not enough at sea days on the Med route.
    Anthem:
    Best - NorthStar, Two70.
Worst - Windjammer food was worst of all cruises, unhappy crew, rude guests and Royal Esplanade crowding.
    Harmony:
Best - Strong crew, OA and AL on steroids. Loved additions of slides.
Worst - Cruise Director was weakest of all sailings.
    Symphony:
Best - El Loco Fresh, Playmakers and other minor things around the ship.
Worst - Lack of noon announcements (really the only negative I can think of).

We're sailing Anthem for the second time this October, exactly 1 year since our last sailing on her. Partly it's for the same reason as @mom2mybugs, as Cape Liberty is an easy drive for us and we eliminate plane fare, so we're trying to focus all bookings for the next few years to be out of there. But we had a good time on Anthem and wanted to go back to Bermuda again, so she's our lady for that trip!
Apart from this, I'm personally more interested in the itinerary than the ship as I'm still so new to cruising and view it much more as a way to visit places I otherwise wouldn't / couldn't because of comparative cost of a land vacation to those places. So if a new itinerary means revisiting a ship I've sailed on, that's fine. And if it means trying a new ship, well that's fine too! ?
I'm guessing that over time my wife will find a particular ship or set of ships she likes most and start asking for more sailings on those. Just the nature of our sun signs -- I'm an Aquarius and always looking for the new, while my wife is a Cancer and likes things to be predictable and stable. ?

Voyager class.  No clue about anything below that as those ships aren't really on my radar, especially not with my kids.

Those messages can be inaccurate. Jeff joined Liberty 3 days ago so I'm guessing he won't go to Oasis so soon.

I would say he was a decent CD. I don't have much to judge him on as the Med cruises don't have a lot of the usual events, but when I saw him, he seemed upbeat, enthusiastic and wanted everyone to have a good time.

@WannaCruise let's just put it this way...You like Jamie Fentiman right?  These are Hubby's words.."Jamie is exceptional, and BB is adequate."
IMO, BB is older, he doesn't have the same enthusiasm and energy as some of the younger CDs.  His personality is not quite as captivating either.

Happy new year to you also Joe. We'll be on Symphony in May and was hoping to have Abe again (was with Abe when he was on Anthem). Hopefully Mike will be an equally good experience. This will be our first time on Oasis Class and it will be interesting to see how the staff interacts with so many people on such a big ship.

    Happy New Year to everyone.
Per CC, Mike Szwajkowski takes over SY on May 4th. If Symphony wasn't so expensive, I would be booked in a heartbeat. At least @Lovetocruise2002 has a good CD to look forward to. Ironically, I still know nothing about Harmony in March.

Once Upon A Time was a medley of various fairy tales: Cinderella, Rapunzel, Pinocchio, etc.  It was your classic RC original production. Great mix of live music, decent vocals, and dancing.
After the show, we dropped the kids off in the room and headed off to see the Love and Marriage show. I always try to go to this one if we have a good CD. I’ve skipped it before when we had BB but this is one where the CD makes or breaks it, IMO. Jamie was hilarious. He is a great entertainer. The couples picked were a lot of fun as well. Glad we went to watch.
The ship is still rocking like crazy. Many people commenting on the motion tonight so I take comfort in knowing that it’s not just me and D12. I just took another Gravol and it should be kicking in shortly. ?
Tomorrow is our last day on board. Please let me know if there is anything specific you would like to know.

Thanks for following @Joe01! And for the record, Jamie (CD) and Daniel are great. I have not ever had the pleasure of sailing with Abe or Marc yet, but my favourites so far are (in order): Tim (?still sad that he is gone), Hugo, Jamie, and Clo.

Being a Brit, Fish & Ships is a good idea for the British market but I think for the sailings out of Florida, they should replace it. And looking at your photo, it is way too expensive.
Happy New Year - loving the blog so far.

This is absolutely tragic, especially given his age. The crew apparently did not know until the next morning when he did not turn up at his scheduled event.
The event was absolutely a suicide unfortunately. I found his Twitter page and there were several tweets indicating that something was not right. Also, people should know that you cannot "fall off" a ship like the Harmony accidentally. Having sailed on her multiple times, I can assure you that her Deck 5 Jogging Track is one of the hardest to "fall off" as it is so enclosed.
It's such a shame. Thoughts with his family, but also the Harmony team.

Looking at the itinerary for that cruise, day three was in Malaga, Spain. Surely he could find some underwear during an 11 hour stay in port?

Can definitely confirm that Tim has left as his LinkedIn is no longer showing Royal Caribbean.
His departure has me scratching my head a bit. Hoping it was nothing serious and wishing him and his family the best going forward.
He was the youngest CD in the fleet. They need to hire someone young next to put a Millennial twist on things.
