  1. The link to check-in is usually right below the names on this screen. I know a few of the features on the app vary by ship so it may be possible that Brilliance doesn’t offer app check-in yet? Not sure. You should still be able to check-in online.
  2. I use the CruiseMapper app too. Especially the live maps feature - if I am on a cruise and see another ship on the horizon and want to be able to identify the ship and know where it is going / coming from.
  3. Grease on Independence is a production show. However, I did learn from the backstage tour that it was changed and abbreviated slightly with the approval of the Broadway producers to allow for a shorter runtime on the ship that wouldn’t require an intermission.
  4. Depending on your sailing, the menu may be available in your Royal Caribbean app already and the menu in the app shows the price for each item.
  5. 1. Columbus Cove 2. Labadoozie 3. Repeat step 2 as needed. Labadee is great - very beautiful and relaxing. You'll love it, I am sure!
  6. Yes! It’s on my bucket list so I’m searching pretty regularly. An easy way to find them is to “search by port” on the RC website. For instance, here is a link to the page on Labadee (https://www.royalcaribbean.com/cruise-to/labadee-haiti) that shows all of the itineraries to Labadee and you can scan through and see there are a couple of “& Perfect Day” cruises which also stop at CocoCay.
  7. Good advice because flight prices change by the minute and it will drive you mad if you’re so concerned with getting the best possible price.
  8. That’s what I do and look at booking the flights about 60-90 days out.
  9. Now that you mention this, I think you are correct. In GS on Vision, I was right below the pool deck but was only an issue for us in afternoons with pool deck live music and pool chairs being dragged around.
  10. Sounds like a great cruise and what an amazing price! Have fun!
  11. I know how this feels. I’ve made a rule for myself to not even check the price of the cruises I have booked once I hit that final payment date. While disappointing I’m sure, Junior Suite on that transatlantic itinerary still sounds like one incredible trip! Enjoy your cruise!
  12. The Radiance class ships are some of my favorites. Perfect if you enjoy relaxing and more of a connection with the ocean. Also the decor has aged better than other ships around that age in my opinion.
  13. I wish I lived closer to a port for this reason. The 3 nights are a little harder with a full day road trip or flight to work out. Maybe one day!
  14. Oh, me too. Haha. I’m ALWAYS looking what cruises I can fill in the gaps with.
  15. Yes... once you start booking those short cruises to hold you over until your next cruise, you know you've gone too far. Have a great trip!
  16. Honestly, some may disagree but Tampa is one of my favorite ports - it always feels very easy to get in and out and the people working in Tampa seem friendlier than other ports to me? Idk it could also just be the few experiences I had there. Sailing out of Tampa is neat because you sail under the Sunshine Skyway bridge at night (about 1.5 hours or so after sailaway). Rhapsody and the vision class are your typical older, smaller ships. They won't have many of the bells and whistles and some of the decor is a little cheesy nowadays. I just spent 7 days on her a few weeks ago and really enjoyed the ship and the staff. I am also a sucker for some of the smaller ships and don't need so many activities to have a good time. I don't have any experience with Jr Suite however I did do a Grande Suite on Vision which was nice but certainly not as impressive as on newer ships. I say if you enjoy smaller classes and relaxing on cruises, go for it if the price is right! Andddd it would 2 cruise points (if that is your thing). ?
  17. Has anyone done the guacamole making class since Sabor was removed? I see it on the cruise planner and am considering it but not sure.
  18. I’ve been tempted to book Middle East the last few weeks because those prices are INCREDIBLE.
  19. Not really. You can also take a water taxi to Atlantis which offers a little different perspective and pretty cheap.
  20. Sorry forgot about gratuities. If they prepay the gratuities and it shows up on their invoice I would think that they could use them on that. Mine just showed up as a payment on the invoice so I think it would apply to anything in there. Good luck!
  21. I had a few that I received from work - both paper copies and e-certificates. I believe mine said on them that they could only be used on cruise fares. I had to either call a number to book a new cruise or it gave me an email to send the information to to apply the credit to an already booked cruise which is what I did. It took about 2 weeks for it to show up on the booking and get a response so if you do it the same way, just make sure you are out far enough from the final payment date. Not the most convenient things to use but definitely did the trick.
  22. According to the CDC there have been between 14,000 and 36,000 deaths from this year’s flu. Link for my source here: https://www.cdc.gov/flu/about/burden/preliminary-in-season-estimates.htm
  23. I personally wouldn’t be hesitant to book an Asia sailing. COVID-19 has so far not even come close to the flu in total number of cases or deaths this year. Not saying the outbreak isn’t bad, maybe just not as bad as it initially sounds. Also if things get unsafe, you see cruise lines taking steps to cancel cruises, implement screenings, and issue refunds. I haven’t been to Asia yet but it is definitely on my bucket list. Hope you figure out what works best for you!
