Travel29441@yahoo.com's Trip Report

30Jul2011
Ship:
Allure of the Seas
Duration:
7 nights
Cabin:
Boardwalk balcony

Amazing ship, great casino and gym, lots for the kids to do.  Food was a little better than on other Royal Caribbean cruise.

What was your motivation to take a cruise?:
Family vacation for 18 of us.
What was a highlight of your cruise?:
Watching the kids have a great time together at: the H2O Zone; dinner; ice skating rink..
What did you dislike about your cruise?:
Having the front desk refuse to give us the Crown and Anchor booklets when they failed to provide them on the first day of the cruise. Getting 30 bites all over my body on the last night of the cruise while sleeping. Beg bugs? Reported the problem to Royal Caribbean after debarking the ship, but they would not do anything for me because they said I didn't report the problem while on board.
Did you do any excursions?:
2 tank dive in Cozumel was great and worth the $100.
How was your cabin?:
10317 was one of 9 cabins. Boardwalk view with balcony. Everyone liked them, but for the 30 bites I received. Cabins can be a little noisy when the Aqua Show is performing, but nobody is sleeping at 9 pm. T
How was the food on the ship?:
Little better than on Navigator and Mariner of the Seas.
Would you cruise again on this ship?:
No
