Trans-Atlantic weather (UK - Nassau) in Nov/Dec... Rough and rainy????

Hi everyone..   We are 1st time cruisers and have booked for 22nd November - Southampton, UK - Fort Lauderdale, Florida on Independance. Anyone had experience of a transatlantic crossing at this time? Thanks for you advice.

I haven't done this cruise but if it makes you feel better, the captain is always looking for the best route in terms of smoothness of the ocean as well as weather as a whole.  Let us know how you like it!
